| 772889 | 2009-05-10 23:23:00 | My Asus notebook is dying!? It just shuts down by itself this morning. When I press the Power switch again, the fan spins, LED lights etc for only about 2 seconds and turns itself OFF again. Tried many times but with the same results. It just refuses to wake up, or it will never wake up again? It's 3+ years old and warranty is well over. Looks like a dud Motherboard? |

| 772893 | 2009-05-11 01:25:00 | I had one come back doing a similar thing recently. Power pin at back was suspiciously loose - they ended up swapping the board out - however I had one a while back and they just fixed the connection to it - cost customer $99 from Techmaster - as it was 3 years out of it's warranty. Worth ringing them and getting a quote. |

I don't really want (ended up) having to pay for $600+ for replacing the MB or paying $80.00 for not doing anything! Get what I mean? |
