773358 2009-05-12 11:34:00 iv been using Media center and windows Media center to watch movies and videos A lot but recently it has stopped playing a lot of my videos for some unknown reason videos that used to work now dont.
what happens is i double click on the video that i want to play and Visual studio 2008 comes up its called the visual studio just-in-time debugger and media player or media center closes the problem is new and only happens on 1/2 my videos but the videos will play in a 3rd party program like VLC or nero show time nothing major has changed on when the crash started and it also happens on my laptop for any video and its done it on my laptop since i got the thing.

both my pc and laptop are running Vista home Premium and these videos work under windows 7

773361 2009-05-13 10:39:00 I would try re-installing wmp here:- www.microsoft.com

However, it is hard to explain two installations being crook.
