| 773245 | 2009-05-12 01:55:00 | Suddenly - no reason that I can think of I lost the option of choosing Google in the drop-down choice of search programs - top right hand corner. Changed to Yahoo. Choice of around 6 search progs but no Google . Has this happened to anyone else? Any cure? Cheers. Jim | Dundee (10967) | ||

| 773247 | 2009-05-12 05:28:00 | Thanks for reply. Google not available. Can't find link to add it back in -too many varieties of Google to find the right one. Also find all the drop-downs (Yahoo,Amazon, Ebay etc) assume I am in UK or Ireland - wasn't like that before. | 773249 | 2009-05-12 11:18:00 | If you've got the British English version of Firefox installed it assumes you are in the UK & everything defaults to British, search engines too. | 773252 | 2009-05-13 07:55:00 | What is your language set to? Check Tools --> Options --> Content --> click the language thingie mine is set to NZ English, i think when i had it set to English UK My searchs kept giving me the option to search pages in the UK. But I could be wrong |
