Laser or Inkjet?

If you're going with inkjet, stay away from the Epson CX___ series - they're utterly hopeless (I have a CX3700).

Stay away from Brother too. Strange thing is both those companies make good laser printers.

Go with Canon or HP.

606661 2007-10-30 20:06:00 Hey fella.

I recently bought a HP Photosmart C4180.

Printer/Scanner/Copier.

Does a good job of everything I ask it to do....just started printing photos. 15x10's. Got some frames from... Warehouse...so I'll be replacing them next week....and photos are all good. You don't wanna look at them too closely, but look great on my desk.

AND I noticed Monday they are $50 off at Warehouse Stationery....$249.

Printer that is...not frames :p

606662 2007-10-30 20:20:00 Thanks for replies.

Definitly don't want an inkjet copier. Basically just need a scanner to replace my old Genius model, and a photocopier ability would be useful.

But nevermind... I s'pose I'll just have to get the two items seperately.

Ta.

606663 2007-10-30 20:38:00 We use one of these (www.brother.co.nz) from brother at work. Used mainly as a Fax and general office printer. The scanner is fine for documents, but wouldn't use it for photo's. plod (107)
606664 2007-10-30 21:56:00 HP Photosmart series are pretty good for the money. beeswax34 (63)
