605413 2007-10-25 20:09:00 Yesterday I munted my keyboard when I put my soldering iron down on what I *thought* was the stand.. turns out it was actually my numpad :(

Anyway, as you can see from this picture (www.imagef1.net.nz) 3 of the keys are melted..

So I am asking, anyone have a broken or otherwise unwanted keyboard that has those 3 keys intact? :D

It would be much appreciated..

605414 2007-10-25 22:12:00 Munted? It is now an enhanced SP3 keyboard (Solder Processed 3 keys) with tactilely distinguished anti-skid corner keys.
Appoint a sales agent and a patent attorney without delay.
Stick an 'i' in front of the new name and prove for yourself that they are indeed soon parted from their money.

605416 2007-10-25 22:41:00 That looks surreptitiously like a Compaq KB that I'm using now. bob_doe_nz (92)
605417 2007-10-25 22:51:00 HP, actually. but then they're the same company anyway - don't worry, it's the only HP piece of hardware I own. Agent_24 (57)

Hardly munted. Its just modded.

Munted is when it doesn't work anymore.
Like my sons laptop - works just fine so long as you don't want to type.

605421 2007-10-26 10:48:00 comon agent those keys are still fine!

and now you've got a "custom" keyboard - shows you really know your stuff when your keyboard has soldering iron marks:thumbs:

you could grab a white one and swap out all the keys in a checkerboard pattern, or write "LOL" or "TYPE" or something short on it with white keys:D
