605331 2007-10-25 19:08:00 Much ado about nothing?
There's lies, dammed lies, and then there's statistics.
Or is it that one player is not able to fix much?
Could it be that lots of colour can help a vacuous blog?
Is it lunch time yet?

605332 2007-10-25 19:26:00 Until he publishes his test environment and what exactly was patched (and his criteria for ranking patches)... I'll take that with a very large grain of salt. All that seems to be on that page at the moment is a pile of colourful graphs designed to make Microsoft look good (or bad if you interpret that as saying 'MS doesn't fix bugs'). Erayd (23)
605333 2007-10-25 19:26:00 And as you can see from the comments at the bottom, nobody trusts the charts.. They look pretty, but dont really tell you jack about what went on.

Security Vulnerabilities: They're not hidden.. therefore somebody like you or me should be able to find the same list of Security Patches that was used to make his charts and re-create them ourselves.

Unlikely!

Seriously though guys, I dont wanna see a flame war start outta this, but Im in a trusting mood so I'll leave this thread for now. I know your track record thou, but feel free to discuss (without the dedicated passion) the security side, and not just advocate "my os is better than yours".
