605884 2007-10-29 04:12:00 Apples are fine computers, Granted they are not worth the premium asked for, but its the unofficial spokespersons that destroy all credibility.

The official spokes persons are knob ends as well.

And whoever is head of advertising needs to be thrown off a bridge.

Agree on your comments there Met, but the premium is not what it used to be.

The advertising agency that handles the Apple Inc's global account would be TBWA/Chiat/Day who have been doing a pretty good job lately considering where Apple now stands as a successful company that designs computers, gadgets and the software that runs them.

Ad agencies get praised when they are successful with their campaigns - thats the what you work towards when your in one, a successful campaign and a big fat pay cheque.
Not sure who Microsoft used for their Vista campaign though:eek: :p

Edit: Of course if the ad agency looses the account...Ouch! -$$$

605890 2007-10-29 08:08:00 OK back on topic. For anyone interested, I have just installed leopard. 50mins in total, 15 of those was verifying the bloody disc. I was tempted to skip that step but last time I didn't realize my disc was scratched and screwed up the install. So far it has gone without a hitch and no iSOD:lol: plod (107)
