773072 2009-05-12 10:37:00 on the topic of the RC, what antivirus software are you guys running, i installed the 32 bit beta from the magazine cd and that allowed me to run AVG free 8.5 without any dramas

Ive now installed the 64bit RC and after trying several times i couldnt get AVG to work properly!

Any one else had this problem? Im curently running Avira free without any problems.

773073 2009-05-12 10:53:00 AVG sucks. Try Avast!, works fine in 64bit:

773076 2009-05-12 20:24:00 64bit version, I was after. If someone wants to burn me a dvd. I'll send a self addressed and replacement DVD to them :-)

Or, I can wait until the 25th I think...

PM me with your shipping details and I'll burn you a copy. :)

I installed Avira on the 64 bit version no problems. It updates fine.
Forget AVG, use Avira or Avast they're both much better :)

No, it just brings up a little box saying it has updated (it usually updates automatically). And tells you (it speaks) when its updated something
