605501 2007-10-27 00:22:00 Now you know how Labour manages to ram through these things without the rest of the country noticing until it's too late... Erayd (23)

Ah, the reds have come from under the bed.

This can not be avoided folks, they multiply like flees.

605505 2007-10-27 08:59:00 Hmmm - the reds are running the country Cicero. No need for hiding under beds.

605506 2007-10-27 09:10:00 By the time the election rolls around your new Prime Minister will have three whole years of political experience to draw from...Indeed. Versus the current lot, who will have had nine whole years of experience learning how to slowly destroy the country without people noticing until it's too late. And then they tell you it's good for you.

I'll take National over Labour anyday. I'm not saying they're brilliant, but let's face it - they're a much better alternative than anyone else in there at the moment.

605507 2007-10-27 09:58:00 New Zealand's political history follows very boring patterns. After three terms of one major party everybody is ready for the other major party. And so on.

It's not like National have any particular talent in their caucus - but they will almost definitely win the next election through just being there and being the National Party.

They'll get six months grace from the voters (at most) and then the whinging about the gummint will start again.

If anybody seriously thinks that National will do anything markedly differently to Labour then they're deluded. The two parties are very close to centre.

Rodney's looking very trim since the dancing thing. Scary, even...

Caesar:- Let me have men about me that are fat,
Sleek-headed men and such as sleep a-nights.
Yond Cassius (Rodney) has a lean and hungry look,
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous.
