| 773601 | 2009-05-14 20:18:00 | it might be the ram if memtest crashes. if you can, remove memory module(s) until memtest successfully runs 100% and if you can replace the faulty ram module im picking it continuously fails at 51%? eg it doesnt vary from that value or anything, even from a cold boot. |

Unfortunately this problem is not covered by the warranty and would be classed as a chargeable repair. The cost of the re-image is £68.48. This will cover the collection of your computer by our courier, shipping to our repair centre, and time for a technician to resolve your problem. We will complete the work as quickly as possible and will deliver your machine back to you once the issue has been resolved. If you would like to book your machine in for a re-image of the hard drive, please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements. | 773603 | 2009-05-14 20:50:00 | right i tried running memtest with no ram in an the laptop was turning on the fan was making noise but nothing appeared on the screen, put the ram back in and memtest seems to work now it said after completion there were no errors so i guess thats the ram problem out the window | mazinmat (14718) | ||
