| 773335 | 2009-05-12 10:00:00 | 'Oh what a tangled web we weave' - I have just realised that I have two Personal Folders (with different contents) - so perhaps that is behind some of my previously mentioned problems. Thanks to you both for your help. But now I am near my bedtime, and fear that if I continue, I'll make mistakes and loose important emails. So off to bed for me for now! However, if you know a way of combining two .pst files together, I'd be grateful and continue my merry way tomorrow evening! :) |

| 773336 | 2009-05-12 21:54:00 | First thing I would advise is to back up the Current PST file - you may need to install This Add in (www.microsoft.com) then open outlook, From the file menu select Backup / go to its options, tell it where to back up to ( another folder on your PC) - once backed up, from file - import and Export /From another program or File/Personal Folder(.pst) - browse to where the second pst file is -( you have 3 options on what to import) select the one that suits - follow the prompts through. IF you end up with mails in different folder to where you want them, select the mails/Right click/Move to- select correct folder from the drop down box - OK and they will move to the correct folder. |
