| 606143 | 2007-10-29 04:42:00 | I got ipod touch the day they come out, have had mine for about 4 weeks now.... on the good side. the touch screen is very nice, easy to read even in direct sunlight. the web browser is the best portable web browser I have ever used. nice full screen video. on the bad side. less battery life than expected (8 hours music or 3 hours video) the wifi music store wont let you update podcasts. no flash support in the browser. interface can be a bit slugish sometimes. havent found a way of making an "on the go" playlist. if anyone has question about it feel free to ask. Those bad points are all published and are known issues with it. I am waiting for version 2 to come out to fix the issues. Flash can require a lot of resources, so it would need a faster processor to handle that. Another problem with it, is that you can't edit calendar entries, like you can on the iphone, which means they have crippled it so people go for the iphone instead. |

| 606144 | 2007-10-29 04:55:00 | $479 The iPod touch has a screen lock to avoid unplanned surpises when it is in your pocket. I usually look at my iPod when selecting songs or adjust volume. Jeez thats going to waste a lot of time. On my HP or Palm, its all buttons. Oh wait, you dont have any. I wonder what you paid for. A pane of glass. |

Another problem with it, is that you can't edit calendar entries, like you can on the iphone, which means they have crippled it so people go for the iphone instead. Annoying I agree although it its primary purpose is to play music. |

I don't suppose their is any chance of getting you to do the bounce test?, or cracking the screen to see if its still usable as MP3 player when the screens broken. Is it designed to have the battery replaced by the user? |

I'm guessing that they won't work so well with a cracked screen which makes me wonder, do PCs work after they have been thrown out a second story window on to the asphalt? |

| 606149 | 2007-10-29 06:02:00 | Not likely to drop a PC though are you, Unless your on crack, and I have my suspicions. Like mobile phones an MP3 player is something that is likely enough to be dropped on a hard surface once or twice in its lifetime and they should be designed to handle it. At the premium price charged its something I would expect. Is the screen itself 100 percent scratch proof? They are all going to be useless for video playback in a years time if they aren't. Anyway WMG, You don't own one, Your just trying to hype the damn thing because its apple. Your one weird weird chicken. Bok Bok |
