| 774391 | 2009-05-16 08:53:00 | Hi I've just set up a wireless ad-hock network between two laptops, one Vista and one xp, The thing is I can connect to the vista lappie from xp lappie, but when I clickon the Xp lappie in vista it asks for a username and password to open it , I have no password set up on the xp laptop and not sure where to find and enter this information. The Xp laptop has 2 user accounts for the kids (they are passworded) but I am on the admin account with no password. Is this related? On vista I can turn off the username and password box for access from xp to vista. but cannot find the same on the xp lappie. Hope this is understandable. thanks |
