774224 2009-05-15 21:18:00 Hi Everyone,

Time to transfer, my files, which 4gb USB drive do you think is the best? Bear in mind im not exactly loaded with cash so im setting a maximum price limit of $20.

I dont need any of the fancy stuff like PC lock, data encrypt or anything for that matter. All I need it for is to transfer files from Computer 1 to 2.

I had a transcend Jetflash V30, but it stopped working. And the sticker got removed so warranty void.

Thanks in advance

774225 2009-05-15 21:27:00 If you could afford another $20, you could get an 8GB for about $43. Nothing wrong with the jetflash. Got a 2 GB the other day for $19. You wont get the best for $20.00 Speedy Gonzales (78)
774226 2009-05-15 21:55:00 you can get a sandisk 16GB for $79 GameJunkie (72)
774227 2009-05-15 22:42:00 If the comps are near each other just use a crossover network cable and link them together gary67 (56)
774228 2009-05-16 00:21:00 Transcend drives are fine, but bear in mind they are cheap because they are much slower.

For your budget just grab an adata or transcend one.

774229 2009-05-16 00:24:00 We sell Transcend Jetflash 4GB stick for $22.90. If you are close to the North Shore :) Nictech (14748)
774230 2009-05-16 00:36:00 You want the best and you want it cheap, not gonna happen sorry. You can get a decent, albeit it not fast, flash drive from multiple brands for $20 for 4GB. Most of those mentioned are good choices.

If you actually want the best, imo atm its Kingston's DataTraveler HyperX.

774231 2009-05-16 06:21:00 What I meant was what was the Best I could GET for $20

Anyway, I went and got a Apacer AH320 4gb from Pb Tech for $16.88 Seems good enough to me.

Thanks,
Jay
