773987 2009-05-15 02:44:00 I would rather get a VX2233vm or a VX2260wm, cheaper but the quality is incredibly good.

Both are also full HD

773990 2009-05-15 03:09:00 Most Samsung monitors have a 3 year warranty on them. I wouldn't buy any monitor that doesnt have a 3 year warranty, personally. Also check the zero dead pixel warranties on any monitor you are looking at buying. Nictech (14748)
773991 2009-05-15 03:14:00 Most of Samsung's LCDs are very good. Personally I'd go with a BenQ E2200HD, but be aware it is 16:9 not 16:10 ratio (1920x1080 native res). inphinity (7274)

I highly recommend that monitor. Has a 3 year perfect pixel warranty. (It is 22", 21.5" viewable, same as every other 22" monitor)

I own one, do a lot of gaming, video editing and watch HD content, its an awesome screen.

773993 2009-05-15 21:28:00 Hi, taxbot. I bought a ViewSonic VX2233WM from A-Tech in Wakefield Street, Wellington, for $329 several weeks ago. No prob. Pricespy indicates the cheapest is $312, but by the time you add freight to that, you may as well pickup from A-Tech. Cheers. A Team (13613)
773994 2009-05-16 06:33:00 I have the LG W2261V, Fantastic full HD crisp images, Not going to leave it for a very long time. The on button is feather touch, gives it a nice "touch". It comes with a 3 year onsite warranty. I got mine for about $350 from Pb Tech

If you want quality go with the W2261V, but the samsung looks alright to me.

773995 2009-05-16 07:03:00 Is it just me, or has LG lately totally copied the Samsung monitor/TV style? I don't know if the two companies have a tie-up (other than being Korean).
I can understand why, I think the Samsung is a lovely looking piece of furniture (?), and when I upgrade my Polyview I'll be taking a close look at both Samsung and LG.
