774000 2009-05-15 02:23:00 I want to copy images onto a flsh drive so that they will appear in a specific order when viewed on another PC as a slideshow. How do I do this? Do I need to create a slideshow.exe? bpt2 (6653)
774001 2009-05-15 02:27:00 Probably be better if you burn them to a CD or DVD with a program Speedy Gonzales (78)
774002 2009-05-15 02:28:00 You cannot set the folder view type into a set position, instead you can use something such Photostory:
www.microsoft.com

OR-Windows DVD maker if you have Vista

774003 2009-05-15 03:40:00 Maybe try a online storage facility like Flickr, which includes slide shows and albums, and can show case to other users/PC's... kahawai chaser (3545)
774004 2009-05-15 03:49:00 closest you will get without additional software will be to name the files sequentially (1.jpg, 2.jpg etc) and hope the other person has it sorted by filename. heh. inphinity (7274)

But you would have to use 00001.jpg etc.

This because when you get to double digits you will find the files may not sort in the order you think they will.

774006 2009-05-15 05:52:00 Thanks all. What seems like such a simple thing in the paper world is obviously more complicated in the digital one. bpt2 (6653)
