Would you then continue to justify the awesome betterness of the Ford, no matter how many vaild points anyone else made to indicate it was less-than-better? Once the thread had melted down because of this and a mod had locked it, would you then do the very same thing, again, and again, and again everytime ANY thread that had ANY tangental relevancy to cars came up? It's one thing to believe in a product and be "happy to share" that knowledge, but what WMG does is ram it down your throat whether you want it or not and absolutely refuse to take on board any criticism. That's trolling. In the ape world we beat offenders up with a big stick and hurl poo at them for this kind of thing. exactly what i was thinking. the worst part was how when you corner him with logic/evidence even he couldn't deny, he would just spout sales figures and try to change the subject the 6gb vista vs 9gb mac os was a classic example. then the threads that fell apart due WMG comment, eg "is ps3 a flop" thread. and the orginal post in this very thread : "The noteworthy part is that someone is targeting the [Mac] OS," said Randy Abrams, a security researcher at antivirus software provider Eset. "This may mean that the OS is beginning to gain enough users to be attractive to attackers." was something i remember arguing with him about several times in the past, and now i can say "i told him so":p but for all his ridiculous propaganda bordering on spam, he did, occasionally, make valid points. infact, when he wasn't posting about apple products he seemed a perfectly sensible person. it just got me how he could be so biased, and as bonzo said, keep on repeating the same troll-like actions. i wish he didn't follow steve jobs and the apple marketing crew so blindly, like apple is his religious faith or something.... (i would not be surprised if he actually worked for apple) |
