| 774413 | 2009-05-16 09:39:00 | I keep forgetting what the process is for this to work. Basically I have 1 physical hard drive I want to split into 2 partitions both using NTFS. 1st being for the OS and OS critical data + apps. 2nd straight data. I 've done this before where I could resize both partions by taking away space from 1 drive and reallocating to the other. eg, OS needs more as I have underestimated requirements, therefore data drive loses allocation. BUT - other times I've formatted for two drives and for some reason I can't increase/decrease sizes. I know it's got something to do with primary/extended/logical order etc... |
