| 774306 | 2009-05-16 04:33:00 | Hi all, I'm using Firefox 3.0.10 (Portable - X-Firefox version). I have the Google search in my toolbar. When I type in my search term, hitting enter does nothing. Clicking the searcher icon (magnifying glass) also does nothing. No response at all, it's like the mouse click or keyboard input has no effect whatsoever. Everything else in Firefox, web browsing etc works fine. The only way I can do a Google search, is to go to a Google page on the web and search from there. Which kinda defeats the purpose of having the toolbar. It's been doing this for a while now. Note - I'm using the portable version of X-Firefox run through a portable HD on my work laptop from overseas. As it's a work laptop I can't install any applications on it, but I prefer Firefox over IE so that's why I use the portable version. OS is WinXP Pro. The only add-ins I have running are Adblock Plus, Better GMail2, Foxclocks, New Tab position button, and Webmail Notifier. All the search options are reset to default. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance |
