Simplest method is the above, but if your kids are smart they will easily be able to remove/disable the programs, so I suggest you talk to them instead Or, you can setup OpenDNS on the router and automatically block all content that uses massive amounts of bandwidth such as streaming videos etc Blam |

And I take it you have installed anti-spyware on these PCs and YOU are scanning the PCs regularly - because kids never do and it could be malware using the data too. |

| 774236 | 2009-05-16 04:26:00 | Microsoft do a parental tool for Windows XP. Link (download.live.com). I think the tool is included (somewhere) in Vista. It tracks what websites they've been on, so you can see whos been using the bandwidth intensive websites (eg youtube). Might be a little over the top for what your wanting (in terms of monitoring them), but it'll do the job. |
