774130 2009-05-15 05:49:00 Hi,
I have downloaded the above into my spareh/d --2.36 GB on a 40 GB disk
Whilst doing that an Icon showing it was downloading showed on the desk top> I was asked to open it with a program of choice,chose- W Media and things went O K, although the Icxon showing on desktop disappeared
but on looking for the exe program- I cannot find an EXE of any sort
I get to a subwindow featuring Media but no way can I install anything-= that window just skips around anything to do with media
The file is showing in "programs", but on clicking to open it---back to the useless window
Can anyone assist please"

774131 2009-05-15 05:59:00 ?? If you mean you downloaded the ISO for windows 7, do you mean you used windows media player to open it?? If you did its not an audio file, its an ISO. Which windows media player cant open or play. You need something like imgburn or cdburnerxp to open it then burn it. Speedy Gonzales (78)
774132 2009-05-15 06:28:00 As speedy siad it should be an ISO file.
One I have been using for a short while now, and its so easy to use is ISO Recorder (isorecorder.alexfeinman.com) -- Heres how you use it - simply install the program - once installed , go to where your ISO file is - (Depending what OS you use the Message is slightly different ) -- For Vista - RIGHT click it select Copy Image to CD ( or DVD) in this case. Click Next --thats it.

When finished it spits out the CD /DVD.

Note: if doing a big burn, pays to use the drop down box and reduce the speed to lowest it will go.

774134 2009-05-15 06:52:00 If youve got the whole ISO now, dont get it again. All you need is a burning program, double click on it, it'll open then burn it Speedy Gonzales (78)

774138 2009-05-15 07:58:00 No probs Speedy Gonzales (78)
774139 2009-05-15 09:03:00 Just a quick tip-this is an installation disc for an OS, so I would burn at the slowest speed possible to avoid corruption
