| 774784 | 2009-05-18 01:00:00 | I have just come from a site where I was aked why IE couldn't load the contacts page sometimes . Basically, IE didn't get a response from gmail and popped up the error screen suggesting one of the reasons could have been that we weren't connected to the Internet . I saw this problem while I was there . Inbox was OK but not Contacts . Logging out and back in would fix it, it appears . This guy has two gmail accounts so goes from one to the other by signing out and re-signing in with the other account . Whether this causes the problem I don't know . Apparently, sometimes just getting to gmail itself can also be a problem . I don't use the web interface myself so can't say whether this is a common problem or not . I have tried googling for this but just got lots of old stuff of no use . So, has anyone who uses the web interface had similar problems? TIA . (Machine is XP SP3 and IE7) . |
