| 609189 | 2007-11-07 17:20:00 | I see the Commerce Commission has released their local loop unbundling pricing. Not only is there a monthly charge, but there is a transfer charge the new carrier must pay to Telecom of about $ 75.00 ! This would seem to me to be quite a disincentive for other carriers to push for new customers if it is going to cost them $ 75.00 to get each one ! Regards Digby |

| 609190 | 2007-11-07 17:52:00 | Telecom is going to need to make a decent profit if it's going to invest in a next gen broadband network. I have to agree that $75 is a little bit up there... | jermsie (6820) | ||

| 609192 | 2007-11-08 05:19:00 | yes, but if you paid $99 to connect with Xtra and then six months later want to swap to xyz isp you or they are going to have to find another $99.00 ! That is my point and the margins are probably not there to cover that Regards Digby |
