Created a company that became do dominant countries sue it. But just doesn't get any cool points. I think Steve is loved because he's everything Bill isn't in the coolness stakes, and thus set up a model for the social acceptability of geeks. He made being a geek cool, whereas Bill just proved geeks could own the company as well as running the I.T. Steve is Revenge of the Nerds. Bill just is a Nerd. I read the other day that Bill gives NO money to any cause but does donate Windows where ever possible. Steve isn't so much "revenge" of the nerds - he just 'gets it' which is something that Bill will never do. besides, Steve is still a hippy, Bill is nerd in everything he says, shows and does. |
