610634 2007-11-12 02:45:00 You may be surprised but I wasn't seeking to compare the size of our nuts, Just ascertain whether you had any background to be making recomendations and claims as to whats best.

And as expected, Your just blowing goats.

Worthless.

Dismissed.

610635 2007-11-12 03:00:00 If money is an issue, and this is a one off project, just download the trial version of elements for 30days, or if you need it longer download a trial version off a P2P network or torrent. But please delete after using it:lol: plod (107)

It would appear that you insist on doing much the same for the same end result.
The original question asked for suggestions regarding what posters considered to be good video editing apps so I gave my suggestion based on the reviews I have read. In theory that would have helped answer the question.

610637 2007-11-12 03:27:00 None and none planned. Premier Elements would be your best choice for PC.
www.adobe.com

thanks

and Metla, are you intentionally trolling WMG? or is this just mocking for his recent bans cause he can't bite back?

610638 2007-11-12 03:30:00 I'm not intending on "biting" motorbyclist. I'm more interested in trying to provide you with a suitable solution.
The 30day trials are great for testing Adobe stuff.

not at all, I just hate to see bad advice backed up with what amounts to lies.

So, I called bull**** on the matter, and was proved correct.

Lol, obviously you don't agree.

If I put myself in your shoes, I'd be quite put out that someone who also had never used the products was recommending one of the most expensive and hard to use.

And then making claims that one in particular was better then all the others, Although they had never used any of those products either.

But thats just me.

If you would prefer people with a huge bias and no practical knowledge just make sweeping and unsubstantiated claims then I'm sorry I interfered.

How does suggesting Adobe Premier or Premier Elements constitute as "bad advice"?

I suggested it because I would be happy to use either on a PC for video editing.
I still haven't heard what metla uses...? care to enlighten us metla? Oh yea of apparent great knowledge and experience in video editing software.....

610643 2007-11-12 04:17:00 ok, while i tire of WMG making comments on stuff he hasn't tried, his comments about adobe are aligned with what others are telling me (including a friend who actually does this stuff)

and he didn't go raving on about how much better macs or imovie are, and didn't follow up said rant with sales figures, so i'm not going to whinge.
