In reard to your game, try running it in XP Compatibility Mode and as an administrator. To do this, right-click any shortcut to the game, select Properties and then the Compatibility tab. Choose Windows XP in the drop down box and check the Run as Administrator box near the bottom.
(btw that's the instructions for Windows 7, not sure if you can set programs to run as admin through that dialog box. you can, however, right-click the shortcut each time you run it and click 'Run as Administrator'). |
