774812 2009-05-18 06:39:00 OPPS - my Mistake sorry , saw you said XP CD earlier on:o been a LONG day.

After using the fixboot, does the PC boot up and run, or is it in an endless reboot.

I got Ultimate Boot CD if that counts Is it the UBCD4Win with a GUI interface, like windows, or the other UBCD that doesn't have a GUI.

Have you tried booting into safe mode - and does it boot up, or same as previous.

Edited: GUI = graphical user interface

774813 2009-05-18 06:53:00 Its all right. Yeah after fix boot it does boot normally.
Its the UBCD For Windows which is the XP GUI one.

774814 2009-05-18 06:56:00 Okay - that does sound a lot like system/driver damage someplace.

Once it boots, change the setting in the reboot options and make it BSOD - then you can get the Error code.

OR try looking in event Viewer, click start / run , type in eventvwr have a look through the application and system logs, should be someplace an error + code saying what is causing the crash.

774818 2009-05-18 07:39:00 There will be a common error relating to the times the PC did the BSOD - thats the one you want. wainuitech (129)
