610027 2008-01-08 11:57:00 "Extra M.A.M.E. " is a small MS Windows compatible GUI wrapper for M.A.M.E. , the Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator authored by Nicola Salmoria and the MAME team.

M.A.M.E. let´s you play thousands of old-school arcade games on your computer. "Extra M.A.M.E. " is smaller and easier to use. It doesn´t force you to fuss with difficult configurations and it´s compatible with all M.A.M.E games.

M.A.M.E. is an emulator application designed to recreate the hardware of arcade game systems in software. The name is an acronym for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator.

N.B. I don't know anything about this but remembered it and thought someone (original poster) might be interested.

610031 2008-01-09 17:46:00 I think one of the mags released a CD with some of the old Atari games on it quite a while ago; such as Centipede, and I think Missile Command. Was about 15 games on this CD anyway Myth (110)
