| 774990 | 2009-05-18 10:21:00 | Hey everyone Last week we got broadband But I have 2 computers not on broadband, they are: Laptop with g,b network card Desktop: No network card I want to connect them with wireless Should I use N or G I want to play online games on the Desktop and just surf the web on the laptop. The desktop is bit more than one storey away Our internet speed is 1mb up and 256kb down. Are there any brands you reccomend and which should I keep away from? Thanks for any suggestions |

| 774991 | 2009-05-18 10:25:00 | No point getting N, unless the other 2 have N.Otherwise the wireless N will step down to the Wireless G or B's speed. Or whatever the other 2 are using. I would just get G (altho it may or may not go that far) If you wanted to use N, you'll have to get N for the laptop and desktop, to make it worthwhile. And Wireless N isnt cheap |
