| 774943 | 2009-05-18 10:07:00 | I am building a new PC and i need a Graphic card that i will be using for gaming. Although i am into computers - Graphic card specs and how it relates to gaming performance is one thing that i never fully understand Can you recommend any mid range price graphic cards ( i dont need a SLI setup). Also is there a good website that gives you graphic card tutorial and explains its specs and how it relates to gaming so i can get better versed in this area. Thanks |

For benchmakrs look on Toms Hardware: www.tomshardware.com For middle range price cards how about an Asus/Gigabytes/XFX 4850? Very good value for money Generally in the middle range section Ati offers the best in terms of performance vs value Blam |

Dont wanna go thru a DVI conver plug . As for games . . . shot em ups fallout / crysis and some RPG |

| 774947 | 2009-05-18 20:20:00 | Ok i read few websites namely TomsHardware and Anandtech - I am going with ATI Radeon HD 4770 which just came out and out performs HD 4830 and comes close to 4850 but is quite cheap so I think it will provide the most bang of buck | learning (5137) | ||
