| 774649 | 2009-05-17 08:51:00 | Hi all. Trying to find a PCI graphics card that is a low profile version and has daul head. ec 2x dvi or 1 VGA and 1 DVI. Also trying to find a daul layer dvd writer. Laptop version. Both to be used in a SFF pc thats a media center. Any help would be got. :help: |

| 774650 | 2009-05-17 09:17:00 | Why PCI? Seems a low end choice for media centre PC... The slimline DVD units can be quite be expensive as well. What kind of case are you going to put all this in? Can you give us a list of specs for this media centre pc, that might be a little more helpful. Cheers |

| 774652 | 2009-05-17 09:26:00 | Found this (www.ascent.co.nz) on ascent. Not sure if it's what your looking for but it was the only one that had 2 dvi ports, was PCI, and low profile. I agree with chiefnz though, AGP or PCI-E would be a better option, especially if you plan to watch HD content. As for the laptop drive, I couldn't find anything :(. |

I no sum of the drives are costly. but have seen sum aaround $129. PC is: Dell Optiplex GX520 SFF MOBO: Dell Inc, OUT806 Intel Pentium D, 820, 2.80GHz, Daul core. 2gb Kingston DDR2 800MHz ram (2x 1gb low profile sticks) WD 750gb sata hard drive. CDRW/DVD combo drive. The mother board is a BTX and is a SFF version only has 1 PCI slot. Case has 2 PCI slots. |
