I currently cannot log off of my XP computer because it says that my profile size is too large. After some research, I found out that this should only include files in the application data folder. However, when I click on the red circle with the white x in it, it lists all of the files in My Documnets, including all of my music and pictures.
How can I unlink the My Documents folder from the profile? I don't know how it got linked. I did not change anything and it just became a problem today. |

If you have 2 or more partitions you can CUT and Paste MyDocuments to D: or whichever parition or drive. But if you only have c: then just delete some stuff. |

Is this a roaming profile in a domain environment? Certainly sounds like it with profile restrictions etc. |

Usually profile problems are due to large files being dumped on your desktop or remnants of tmp files. You sure they aren't copies of your My Documents folder |
