The LAn settings are only valid if you are using a USB connection to the router. If using ethernet then that is setup for the computer connecting to the router. You will then need to go into the configuration of the router to set the static settigns. If Ken hasn't set this then it would be dynamic. So if using ethernet the address will nearly always stay the same. The address would change if you have more computers and even moreso when the DHCP rang is less than the total number of computers that are connected. |
