1438779 2017-09-05 09:13:00 The maximum length of text message that you can send is 918 characters. However, if you send more than 160 characters then your message will be broken down in to chunks of 153 characters before being sent to the recipient's handset.
(according to Google)
decibel (11645)
1438780 2017-09-05 09:19:00 A standard SMS message can contain up to 160 characters. If you
exceed this length the message will be sent as more than 1 SMS. You
will be charged for multiple SMS messages depending on the length. Copied from the manual.

1438781 2017-09-05 09:34:00 I have the same phone from Spark. You should see the character count (or rather countdown, e.g.first text entry and space might be 154/1) from 160 on the left side in small font - assuming the stock Messaging App is being used. Then once over 160, when typing, it will display (countdown) the 2nd grouping of characters (e.g. 148/2) kahawai chaser (3545)
1438782 2017-09-05 20:59:00 Don't do it much, but on occasion have sent a long text....and the phone just says do you wish to send as 2 (or 3) messages? It takes care of it itself.... pctek (84)
