| 1438692 | 2017-08-31 00:00:00 | I received a strange, meaningless email yesterday about some payment "Payment_201708-0476". This email has an attachment, which is a .7z file. When extracted (in Linux, for safety!) it is a .jse file, about 7KB. The contents, viewed in a text editor, don't mean anything to me. I keep seeing "readmetitlesugar1" often in the file, among other things. I replied to the email, address Lesley@xtra.co.nz, but my reply was returned, User Unknown. Has anyone seen anything like this? |

| 1438694 | 2017-08-31 00:27:00 | I understand the curiosity, but the thing to do is delete the E-mail and forget about it. Not worth your time. If you feel the need to do more than that forward it to your ISP as spam and maybe they'll add it to the filter or something. | dugimodo (138) | ||

| 1438696 | 2017-08-31 02:54:00 | As long as you know technically more than these hackers & a willing to take some risks .... playing with fire . NEVER reply to these emails , never. you could be confirming your email as a vaild adress to send spam to , or end up in a spam blocking list . chances are it was never sent by that xtra email adress, mail spoofing Whats going on is you are on spammers email lists. Expect more spam & bogus emails. Just the way thing are on the internet . Dont try & find out why, just delete them |
