| 1438270 | 2017-08-14 04:51:00 | I've got a +/- 10 year old DSE brand DVD player which I haven't used in about 10 years, and now want to plug it into my TV. I no longer have the manual. The back of the TV has the slots colour coded, but the DVD player is quite different so I unsure which colour plug (red, yellow and white) goes where. Can anyone advise please? 8214 |

| 1438271 | 2017-08-14 05:17:00 | The Video Plug (Yellow) goes in the Yellow. The Audio -- There are two options. On the 5.1. Channel & Front -- The ones on the left are surround sound. The top (white) is the left speaker, while the one directly below it is the Right (Red). The Cable at the other end should also have Red/White/Yellow plugs, simply plug in the colors to match on the TV. |

| 1438273 | 2017-08-14 07:14:00 | Thanks mate. Took me a few minutes to understand, but I got it now. The Video Plug (Yellow) goes in the Yellow. Wratterus - the TV is a bargain basement Veon with no Component Video in. Incidentally, although this is Warehouse cheapie, they were good on their warranty. My previous TV, a 39", packed in a couple weeks ago. It was nearly 3 years old. Warehouse contractor wrote it off, and so it was replaced with a 42" model. Why I need the DVD player connected is 'cos the old machine had a built-in player, which this one doesn't. But all credit to them for replacing it no questions asked. |
