1437925 2017-08-03 09:57:00 Turn the router off, wait a minute or so, turn it back on. Maybe distract yourself for a few minutes while it starts up and settles down. Then see if that helped.
It's tech support 101 - turn it off and back on again.

Also get an ethernet cable and plug directly into the router and do some testing. If that works well then it's probably a wi-fi issue, if not it's a connection or router issue (probably).
Because it's both computers my expectation is that it's a common point to both - so the router is suspect number 1.

You'll need to do some testing
as above, plug in via a network cable (make sure you turn off wifi on that device)

It could be the internet dropping out : a line fault or router fault. I still get alot of internet issues after alot of rain, just bad phone lines in my street.
If you have a landline, is there any crackling or noises you can hear on the phone ?

It could be poor wifi : the wifi router may be too far away. Try wifi while in the same room as the router. It could be some other device causing wifi interference
& causing wifi to drop out. It could even be the wifi router being flaky .
Sometime just changing the channel on the wifi router can make all the difference .
Sometime people have unrealistic expectation of wifi power : ie wifi signal strength can drop 50% for each wall , so at the other end of the house or upstairs
may be near unusuable

1437927 2017-08-04 04:20:00 For Win10, I would check the properties (under ipv4), of the network adapter. It has a habit of deleting the gateway ip address. If you give it an ip

If you right mouse on the wifi icon on the taskbar / and select troubleshoot problems, whats it say?

And depending on what version of Win10 is installed / and what update was installed recently, some updates did screw wireless up!

1437928 2017-08-04 04:38:00 One other thing I 've seen lately, one of the latest updates, for some reason only on some computers, if you go into the device manager and expand the network adapters you'll find a whole lot of additional network protocols have been installed.

No idea what causes it but it does play merry hell with the network connections. If they are there, right click one at a time and delete, completely remove all the adaptors listed ( but leave the drivers) , reboot and the default adaptors will reinstall, give it a few moments and everything works again.
