Choose the drive you wish to clone and click the Menu icon and there is a list of functions that are built in, including Clone.

Been going to try it myself but haven't got around to it. :D

I went with the advice of our Linux users who suggested that Ver 18.0 (Sarah) Cinnamon was the nearest to Windows, and better for a beginner, although they all seemed to use something different themselves. :)

Anyway, Ver: 18.0 (Sarah) worked so well I’ve stuck with it, but have tried ver:18.1 and ver:18.2 on old retired computers and they work fine too. However, being a High Priest of the “If it ain’t broken don’t fix it” religion, I can see me sticking with Sarah for the long hall.

The bit that beats me is that with all my stuffing around, I have never been asked for a Chipset Driver, or Video Driver, or Printer Driver, or Webcam, Bluetooth, Wireless Modem...........nothing.

It’s amazing, because I’ve swapped hardware like there’s no tomorrow and it all just works.

As a bonus I can do anything in Libre Office that I can do with Microsoft Office, including editing Document and XL files and a good number of Windows Programmes work fine also, as long as Wine and Winetricks is installed.

Anyway, grab an old computer, it doesn’t have to be flash as the ones I’ve played with weren’t flash even in the days of XP, and Mint seems to work fine. I know I was staggered at the speed of boot-up and shut down.

Good Luck.

1438454 2017-08-27 05:58:00 Managed to get FatDog64 to boot with grub2-EFI. I can't get it to find the save file, even with the path shown in the boot conf file. Must be a Bios or Partition Table problem. Works fine on all conventional drives & Bios.

BTW - The Key ring in Google/Mint is easily disabled, just leave the password field blank, and then continue (don't cancel). It will have a little grumble but won't bother you again.
