| 1438731 | 2017-09-02 06:04:00 | Got a Robinhood extracter hood installed in 1999. No problems so far (touch wood), model was a 6f6 WH. Airflow 620 meters a minute. Clears kitchen/lounge area pretty quick. On half speed will draw curtains away from a partly open window. ! Try to avoid concertina type ducting, get the bent metal type as it gives a better air flow. Apart from cleaning the air filters (2) it has not required any other maintance. | BobM (1138) | ||

| 1438734 | 2017-09-03 06:05:00 | My Hyena PSU has given no problems, but it is still only 12 years old. For watt hours per $ price: absolutely incomparable. They certainly made giant improvements over the first units. | R2x1 (4628) | ||
| 1438735 | 2017-09-03 20:11:00 | My Hyena PSU has given no problems, but it is still only 12 years old. . Exactly my point. You, one person, had no problems with a known bad quality product. The point is the failure rate per 1000 for instance. So 1000 people buy a bad product, 500 have no problem, 500 do. That sure doesn't make it something to recommend nor risk buying. 1000 buy another product and 5 of them have an issue, I would much prefer that one. As for PSUs, the cheap nasty ones down South, usually took the pc components with it, the good ones died quietly without affecting the rest of the PC. I know which I prefer. |
