Pics of last year.
Theres also loads of bikes on display parked along Ferry St and a couple of other streets. Right outside our house in fact.

All kinds, old ones, Harleys, trikes, jap performance bikes, whatever your taste is.....

It is fun. There were only 2 crashes last year. Weather is looking OK too, a bit cloudy but its not raining.

They go extremely fast considering the corners-------bring ear muffs.
Free cups of tea or home brew for forum members at pcteks house. Its rather obvious which one is ours.....

614176 2007-11-23 20:08:00 Brilliant - thanks pctek. Will browse at leisure!

I used to love going to the Nelson Port races when we lived up there, then the Cust races till they were stopped. Last time I went to the Cust races, there was an old fella there (riding an Excelsior, IIRC) who was in his 80s. He was out from England on his honeymoon, not with his bride, but with his motorbike!

Happy memory of one Nelson Port race - seeing the late Robert Holden on a Ducati rocketing around a curve in the track, front wheel pawing the sky, setting up for the next bend, so when the front wheel hit the ground he was perfectly lined up for a fast corner. Sigh...
