| 613104 | 2007-11-19 23:52:00 | Outside ones own territorial waters no nation has the power to interfere with an others' shipping, no matter how strongly one may feel over an issue - it is an act of war. Dead easy to discourage - everyone stop buying Japanese goods, as a personal matter of concience - a country can't launch a trade boycott, without retaliatory actions, but it is not compulsory to buy Japanese goods - if enough people take that action worldwide you can bet that whale meat would be off the menu in double quick time. |
