Because Of A Disk Error " Note this only happens when I try and save .ico I have tried multiple plugin's all to the same result... Extra Details: I have 320GB Free Space On Primary HDD 4GB Of Ram, 3GB Avaliable. Vista Intel E5200 3.29Ghz Any help would be awesome  |

I mean I dont particularly love vista, [I have licences for both =) So its no issue] The easiest fix is to simply run Photoshop as Administrator (right click on the icon, choose "Run as Administrator"). There's absolutely no reason to reinstall your operating system. Based on your system specs, there's no real reason to downgrade to XP, unless you really hate Vista. I personally prefer Vista due to its security features, and have used it since it first came out. |

| 776040 | 2009-05-22 12:23:00 | Try what it says here (photoshop911.typepad.com) It looks like this prob happens in CS2 as well. How to get rid of the "disk error"! Go To Photoshop > Edit > Preferences > Perfomance. At the "Memory Usage" section, take the slider of "Let Photoshop use..." and slide to the right so photoshop uses 100% At the Scratch Disk section, select all harddrive and activate the checkboxes! And click OK! Then restart Photoshop and the problem is fixed. Youre not trying to save over a network or something are you? |
