Have you tried right clicking it>uninstall in device manager?

775947 2009-05-23 04:07:00 Sir Prospect, I have the same with a 2gig My Flash, appears under My Computer and asks if I want to format: using XP, XP Pro, but Win 98 SE shows the 6 files in Google-d-gock format but cannot be accessed.

Lurker, I also have the Myflash 2gig (Adata i presume) that works fine but its so damn slow.

Blam, what do u mean by Ubuntu Live Cd? I have a ubuntu Cd that got sent to me by a friend, its original copy. What do i do with it?
