| 613549 | 2007-11-22 16:32:00 | No...no fires around here yet..but the season is still slightly warm..so there's no real need for fireplaces burning yet. I never installed the fireplace in my home..waiting to move the whole house before I do that anyway. I will need a nice wood fire going in Arizona. This aroma seems to build after I close up the house for the evening anyway...kinda gathers intensity after the windows are closed. |

| 613550 | 2007-11-22 16:38:00 | My brother used to get watery eyes and he said like a chesty ache when he was around open fires or anything like that, especially fresh wood burning. Another was the wood they make certain pencils from, has a nasty smell. |

| 613551 | 2007-11-22 16:44:00 | Yeah..I hate the smell of cedar too..but the new pencils are not wood..but a plastic substitute that looks and sometimes even smell like the real thing. | 613557 | 2007-11-22 19:40:00 | I like being an old yank, not a young jerk...lol Anyway...My wife at first didn't like it..but now she's into the program and likes it a lot. We got an extra firm pillow-top Sterns and Foster mattress and it's nice to not wake up with a backache or neck all twisted. I wonder what my grandparents would have thought about my placing the feet due North? They believed that you had to put your head East and if you didn't something bad's gonna happen to you. I think they wanted to go head first if the world either stopped or they fell off and flew into space. I don't think the direction you traveled would make much difference if you fell off the planet though. In the grand scheme of things you'd not likely survive either foot first or head first. |
