| 613105 | 2007-11-19 23:55:00 | We havent got Navy and Coast Gurads?, whaling ships are more heavily armed then our Navy ships?. I'm not suggesting everywhere, just around NZ waters! Our frigates have a big semi automatic 4.5 inch main gun I dont think Coast Guard ships carry village destroyers like that. I have no intention of flaming with this post. I just think that killing whales these days in Antartica waters which I consider a sanctuary is as bad as piracy. The rules of the sea are simple on pirates they may be engaged at anytime and sunk. And when the krill overpopulates, they will steal most oxygen in the water, suffocating other fishies in the sea . That's how nature works . You take one species out of a food chain, you disrupt the whole chain . And we humans are doing such a good job at it . |
