2009-05-23 23:09:00 SATA only have master, So you cant use slave or cable connect. And they dont have jumpers for this anyway Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-05-23 23:13:00 Thanks Speedy, thought that would be the case but wanted to check. Espresso_Addict (8458)
2009-05-23 23:16:00 Whats the point in getting a mobo with sata if you dont use it?? I wouldnt waste my money getting adapters Speedy Gonzales (78)
2009-05-24 01:38:00 That's about all thats available. I'm in the same boat myself upgrading, and have no desire to throw away my IDE drives. I also use legacy connectors. Peter H (220)
2009-05-24 01:44:00 Ah ok I see the point now. There's only one IDE connection on here as well (the dvd burner is connected to it). And 6 SATA connections I think. And 1 SATA 2 hdd. I would have more IDE hdd's, but chucked them on the other computers here instead. Speedy Gonzales (78)
