I know how to set each window to open maximised. But is there a way to set every window to open maximised without having to go through this process to have it happen. Tired of having to do it manually. The ones I can't manually set to maximise are the windows that open inside a program. |

No, the windows within a program are controlled by the program and what the programmer decides. Some programs will remember the this size of windows but if it has has been been designed that way there is nothing you can do. |

It's not just one program. A couple of examples are Quintessential Player and dBpower AMP. I am running XP with SP3. Take the System Configuration Utility(msconfig) I sometimes access it to prevent programs from starting when my computer boots up. The window that opens is small and I have to scroll up and down and sideways to read what entries are in it. I would much rather have all windows open maximised so I don't have to do it manually. |

If you can maximize a window do so, then holding down Ctrl close the window with the X at the top, next time you open it should be maximized. |
