Thanks for that, Metla. Actually, what keeps me posting about politics on this forum is the absolute certainty that conservatives like yourself show when you explain how it really is. But the kind of personal comment you have just made about my character is nothing to do with the sharing of different viewpoints about this topic. You obviously feel that your thoughts are so important that you cannot simply ignore what I say and carry on the conversation with somebody else - and that you post such a remark reveals more about your own character than it does about mine. Your mind is closed. Which is why discussion on the matter with you is a waste of time. Well, I have yet to see anybody change their political viewpoint after a mere discussion - particularly one held on an internet forum. It seems to me that people arrive at their political standpoint in their teens and only shift it - if at all- gradually, and in response to life experience. |
