Settings are exactly the same on each modem.

EDIT:
I took the first modem with me down to a friends a few weeks ago, and it worked perfectly fine there.

777085 2009-05-28 01:47:00 I think it may be time to call Orcon, if you havn't already.

Distance from the exchange would cause slowness like that in a worst case scenario, but the upload speed is still pretty good, and generally youd have utter crap down and up with the sort of download speeds your describing.

777086 2009-05-28 10:10:00 Do you, or a previous house owner, have a burglar alarm installed that dials home? decibel (11645)
777087 2009-05-29 00:06:00 have you gone over your data limit? Nictech (14748)
777088 2009-05-29 04:59:00 Sounds to me like you have line issues and one router is slowing the speed down to compensate, which is why the one which syncs higher has disconnection issues... Agent_24 (57)
777089 2009-06-02 08:33:00 Problem solved. I made a call to Orcon, they sent a techie down to our exchange the very next morning. He did something (didn't catch what exactly), and everything is smooth sailing.

Big thumbs up to Orcons tech support as well, they were very helpful and got everything done quickly.
Thanks for the help everyone.
