| 615526 | 2007-11-27 17:53:00 | In answer to the question Roscoe - Superglue works really well. Siblings of my brother decided to suprise Granddad sleeping with his mouth open, and used the glue they found nearby, woke him up, he flopped them back in and the dentures stuck. I am reading this post with increased attention (and alarm, I might add), as I am also considering going the dentures way. sarel |

It's a supermarket only product, i.e. you won't find it in a chemist. "Any recommendations for a denture cleaner?" I've used Janola diluted 1:10 for years without any problems. I soak the dentures overnight. |

| 615528 | 2007-11-27 22:31:00 | No dentures. I did a $800 root canal with a crown, now that the tooth has cracked, I have a $8k job for a titanium screw and a implant there or just leave a gap .... |

| 615529 | 2007-11-27 22:51:00 | I have had dentures for over thirty years. I struggled with them for a year, but never got used to them. Then for ten years I wore them for cosmetic purposes. Took them out to eat and at home. Since I retired they haven't been in my mouth.. No longer worry about appearances. I'm comfortable and happy That would be why you like to be on your own at 60000 ft. |

It was nice, though, to have at least one serious recommendation. An Irish farmer walking through his field, notices a man drinking out of a pond. The Irish farmer shouted: "Paid a yfed a dwr, maer gwerthin wedi cachu un a for." Which in Gaelic means: "Don't drink the water the cows have **** in it." The man shouts back: "I'm a muslim, I don't understand. Please speak in English." The Irish farmer says: "Use two hands, it holds more"!!! |
